Or at least, so say a pair of competing web horror series, Silverfish and The Dry Diver Drownings. The two team leaders have just set aside their differences to film an unprecedented crossover, and as luck would have it, one of their writers has invited Alex Corby along to witness the event.

More fool her. The abandoned and off-limits Pitchwater Building is foreboding enough even before they lose contact with the outside - and when someone vanishes during filming with Alex standing beside their only exit, it seems as if Dry Diver itself has joined them for the night. The victim even caught its attack on video!

Is Dry Diver real? Who else could swim through solid concrete as if it were the sea, and spirit people out of guarded rooms to drown them without water? With the genius Cornelia Crow out of reach, Alex will have to form a dangerous alliance if she’s to crack the case and bring an end to the drowning disappearances - but the solution might just be more horrible than the myth...
