Tom Erikson has spent a career in newspaper and magazine publishing, with stops in New York, Seattle, Lake Tahoe, San Diego and many points between. He wrote his first story when he was nine. The protagonist was Daffy Duck. Since then he has sporadically written stories, articles, and reviews for Alfred Hitchcock’s Mystery Magazine, Presstime, alternative weeklies, and others. "Tortuga - A Confection of Blood and Gold" is his first novel. He lives with his artist wife in Snohomish County, Washington.
