Chiranjit

The book ’Bless of Solitude’ is a collection of short stories culled from his three collections and translated from ’Odia into English’ by Sanjeet Kumar Das. It contains ten short-stories based on a harmonious blend between reality and imagination.

The stories of Chittaranjan Chiranjit are also good and highly readable. Most of his stories attempt at striking a blend between spiritual quest and worldly desires. Indian tradition in general and Hindu tradition in particular permeate through his stories.
