Cindy Ponds Newell lives in North Carolina, the setting for all of her novels. She has three grown children and a grandson and teaches high school English. She also loves history, which creates an interesting backdrop for most of her novels. Aside from writing and teaching, Cindy loves spending time with her family and ghost hunting.
