The ban on the use of mobile phones in the classroom leads to a transgression of the rule, as this device is effectively inserted into students’ daily lives. With technological advances and the improvement of communication and information technology equipment, the vast majority of public schools today have the possibility of having wifi for students to use the internet in the classroom and on other school premises. This growth seems to be ignored by school education, with public administrations remaining on the sidelines of this new reality and reaffirming the ban on the use of mobile technologies in the classroom. At the same time, there is no concern about training teachers for this endeavour. Is it possible to transform transgression into fruition, increasing student motivation and enhancing the learning process?
