Inpatient Jane Doe is the only witness to a murder she can’t remember, and the killer is coming to ensure she never does. His identity is in the morass of her mind, and she must remember him to stop him. But Jane already suffers psychotic episodes, and remembering might break what’s left of her. When patients start committing suicide, Dr. Benjamin Smith is the only one who believes there’s more than what meets the eye. The mentally ill make the perfect victims, and if there is something wrong happening at Skelton--if Ben isn't chasing shadows like one of his patients--he won't let Jane be next.  Whatever the costs, whatever else he believes, Jane can’t die.
