D.V. Williams was born and grew up (sort of) in the southeast of England. After eminently sensible careers in industry and teaching while spending any free time writing songs and poetry and performing in bands, he finally carried out a lifelong threat to do something life-affirmingly un-sensible and write. The creative urge had finally taken over. The author is married with two teenage sons and lives in southwest Wales. They share their home with two cats, a neurotic collie, and an ever-growing collection of musical instruments.
