Charles Benkendorf is a former associate at L.E.K. Consulting, a global strategy consulting firm. He started writing College2Consulting shortly after his recruitment in 2008, because books did not focus on the overall process enough (i.e., too focused on case interviews). Beyond the book, he recently taught a class at Northwestern University, covering the consulting recruitment process from start to finish. But he is not limited to helping future consultants just through C2C - he also taught a primer on consulting recruitment to University of Chicago’s Consulting Club (UCCC) in January 2011, and has participated as a mock interviewer at Northwestern University for the last 2 years In his spare time, Charles enjoys being a rock star on his drum set, black diamond skiing, and finding / trying new restaurants. He currently works as a Business Analyst at Ustream.tv. Reed Walker is currently a consultant at Avascent Group, a strategy consulting firm specializing in helping defense contractors. He became co-author to ＂Management Consulting 101: From College to Consulting＂ in 2009 to ensure the book had a critical reviewer and a second informed viewpoint on the recruitment process. At Avascent Group, he is recruitment lead for Duke University and Georgetown, conducting resume screens as well as 1st/2nd round interviews.
