This book consists of an overview of the most important food and agricultural regulations in force in Europe on issues such as agrarian policy and rural development, food safety, animal protection, plant protection, biodiversity protection, and organic production, where the regulations are addressed of the European Union, that is, the Common Agricultural Policy and other regulations and directives, agreements of the World Trade Organization, as well as other international conventions and strategies. The most important provisions are highlighted in each of the regulations, with references to the corresponding articles and paragraphs of the regulations and references to relevant recent scientific literature. At the same time, the introduction explains the views on the concept of this book, with the history of the idea of common European agriculture, while the conclusion highlights the basic idea of the development of European agriculture, with the perspective of the development of food and agriculture for several decades.
