Dawn Meiklejohn learned to cook at "My Grandmother’s Knee". As a scout youth and mother of four scouts, Dawn traversed many miles of the Pacific Northwest forests. When she adopted her beloved Lagotto Romagnolo, an Italian truffle dog, Dawn’s passion for foraging and cooking with truffles was sparked. For all the friends to whom she gifted truffles and who asked, "What do I do with truffles?", Dawn wrote Oregon Truffle Feasts.
