A Tale of True Grit, True Love, and Survival Chasing Dreams of Flying
I am adventurous by nature and not afraid of creating change.
Twenty-five years ago, I made the decision to fly my Lancair Super
ES from Montana to Florida to hang out with family and lounge
beneath palm trees in a snow-free setting. Eventually, I left Florida
and returned to Michigan to raise my sons. I also decided to leave
flying behind so I could concentrate solely on my boys. In theory,
change can be a good thing-almost like a vacation in some people’s
eyes, including my own. But the fun of flying soon beckoned me,
and the need to explore drove me to become a part of the
experimental aircraft community once again.
