Born in the early 50’s, Diane has witnessed positive changes through the years in respect to people with disabilities. For over 30 years she has taught and cared for children/adults with special needs in the schools and as a respite, habilitation provider, and caregiver, receiving excellent work reviews. You may describe the author as fearless, taking on varied degrees of challenges in her life. This includes marrying a man named Nutz and parenting eight healthy children (his, mine and ours), along with skating roller derby in her late 40’s. Diane’s passionate living has given her greater awareness regarding the lack of respect and disadvantages special people and their families even now encounter. It’s Diane’s goal in life to help others recognize the good in all by looking "IN" them.
