Destiny, perhaps, governed the life of the author, Dr P. C. Sharma, who also authored GHOSTMEN: the Journey of Your Dreams! on the principle of ’rolling stones gather no moss, but shine’. This could be the reason that a boy from a remote village, unable to go for formal education up to ten years of age, finally made a career in the field of academia, earning a master’s in geography from Gorakhpur University, master’s in education from H. P. University, and Ph.D. on the subject Urban Geography - case study of H.P. from Meerut University.
Having lost his father as a toddler, he charted his own course of life. His career as a teacher and an administrator spans over three decades, in various parts of India. Having worked as a teacher in various reputed schools, he has also rendered service in the Rashtriya Indian Military College (RIMC), Dehradun and Rashtriya Military School (RMS), Chail (Himachal Pradesh). After serving as the principal of two Kendriya Vidyalayas at Sambalpur and Pachmarhi for nearly twelve years, he retired from the post of education officer at KVS Headquarters, New Delhi. In his post-retirement phase, he had been administrative officer at Bharat Scouts and Guides National Headquarters and country coordinator of HAPI (Healthy Adolescent Project in India), a sex education project of the Family Health International (USA), implemented by the World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (London), through B S&G NHQ (New Delhi) in ten districts, mainly suburbs and tribes of West Bengal, including Darjeeling. With this rich experience and passion for geography, literature, philosophy, metaphysics-natural and supernatural-the author took to writing with the intention to share interesting experiences gathered from the people, with the people of global society. He is settled in Greater Noida with his family.
