William R. Burkett, Jr. is an acclaimed sci-fi writer, listed in the Science Fiction Encyclopedia. But his ＂straight＂ writing is finding him a new audience. A product of Georgia and Florida, he led a quixotic career in journalism and public relations before turning his attention back to serious writing. He’s had more than a dozen novels and short story collections published. He now lives in the Pacific Northwest where the fishing and duck hunting are good.
