This research aims to analyze the Linguistic Landscape existing on Indonesian National Shipping Company (PELNI) as an integral part of communication and navigation within the ship. PELNI ships are a primary mode of maritime transportation in Indonesia, and effective communication on board is crucial for passenger safety, comfort, and experience. This study encompasses various aspects of the Linguistic Landscape on PELNI ships, including the use of written language, safety signs, information boards, instructions, and important messages directed at passengers. The analysis was conducted on data found on various information boards on the ship, such as room listings, prohibition signs, facility information, safety equipment, and information in public areas. The results of this research provide profound insights into how communication is organized on PELNI ships, how passengers and crew members interact with this Linguistic Landscape, and how this Linguistic Landscape contributes to safety and comfort during sea voyages. This research also emphasizes the importance of clear language usage, informative signs, and effective communication in a unique environment such as a ship. In conclusion, this research makes a significant contribution to understanding the Linguistic Landscape on PELNI ships and provides guidance for improvements in communication on sea vessels, which can enhance the passenger travel experience and ensure their safety during sea voyages in Indonesia.
