Jerry Genesio is a second-generation Italian-American who was born and raised in Massachusetts. He is the author of six books and is founder of the Children of War Rescue Project. Jerry has participated, with United Nations Non-Governmental Organizations and military peacekeeping forces, in humanitarian and rescue missions in Central America and Bosnia. He is also a graduate of the University of Southern Maine where he earned a BA in history, and he served in the U.S. Marine Corps for six years. He currently lives in Maine with his wife, Lorraine, where he writes full time.
