Glacier Association

Glacier National Park was established on May 11, 1910, to preserve and protect the region's natural and cultural resources for future generations. Along with its sister park, Waterton Lakes National Park, in Alberta, Canada, Glacier National Park is recognized as a World Heritage Site (1995) and a Biosphere Reserve (1976). It was established as the world's first International Peace Park in 1932.

Stars over Montana is a reissue of the classic history of Glacier National Park through biographies of its key founders and early explorers.
