Born in Liverpool, England, Glenda has recently been diagnosed with Aspergers and Fibromyalgia. Having been through many difficult and traumatic experiences throughout her life, she found that writing poetry was the only way for her to express and give voice to her feelings, it gave her understanding of herself which helped her to grow as a person. She started to take writing much more seriously when she had an encounter in 2016, with someone who gave her the self-belief that she could write other genres. This was the start of not only her first novel- but a journey of discovery about herself. Having the belief and support from certain people since then is what inspired her to chase her dream of becoming a published author. She has a passion for helping others which led her to volunteer with people who have multi-complex needs, ranging from homelessness to substance misuse, which she also has first-hand experience of. She believes people’s experiences can help others, this is what inspired her to do this in her role as a volunteer, but also as a writer, in hope that others can gain inspiration and belief, that regardless of what life throws at us, we are strong enough to overcome the challenges- even when at times we see otherwise. Her life has not been easy, but it has always had a purpose, she believes that now, writing and helping others is it
