Cake for Breakfast Every Day is an imaginative story, with colorful illustrations, in an easy-to-read format. It's designed for parents, grandparents or caregivers to share with a child they love, and to encourage that special experience of reading together. The story is centered around a child imagining all the things she could do without an adult setting the rules. Though she imagines a trampoline in her bedroom, eating cake for breakfast, skateboarding through the house, and never having to take a bath, the child realizes that, in the end, having someone to love her is much better than being on her own.
