Damian Stone is a psychologist who helps the colorful characters of New Orleans to manage their mental misfortunes, while struggling with his own complicated past and the ongoing search for the woman who altered the course of his life. In The Last Resort, Damian's search leads him to the Florida coast and a chance meeting with Elle Masterson.
