My life experience is the source of ideas and inspiration to write this book. I had been working in several companies related to crude oil industry, had been doing work related and not very much related to my education, have witnessed period with money and without them and referring to this experience made some conclusions of life cycle. The life changing moment was when my country (Azerbaijan) passed from Soviet model to market economy. The contrast of these two models has been so immense that not many could even have adapted to market/money system. At the same time, the wise and efficient allocation of resources and money particularly in Azerbaijan, is perfect example of money economy in the process to study in my next book. Finally, this book would had been impossible without my memory of my childhood with my grandfather, one of the greatest composers of the Soviet period, Tofig Guliyev, and support of my husband, who does not say ’no’ to any of my ideas.
