I would like to introduce you to my new novel, The Masada Solution. I wrote this book because I care deeply for Israel and worry about the future of the volatile Middle East. I'm sure you do, as well. The Masada Solution is a fast-paced, compelling story that uses the history and current events of the Middle East to formulate options to secure Israel's future. It is the story of a man whose character is formed by past events and whose purpose is defined when his goddaughter is killed by a terrorist's bomb. The protagonist, Jake Zimmer, refuses to accept more carnage of children and the inevitable end of Israel, and decides he will use any means to solve the Middle East conflict, once and for all. With an old ally, he devises a plan that requires him to reject the values that have guided his life and ignore the rules of diplomacy and covenants that constrain nations.
He deceives a U.S. President, the Israeli government, and ultimately, the world in his quest for peace. Opposition forces conspire to kill the plan, causing countless casualties, treachery, treason, failed governments and personal tragedies, but Jake continues seeking a final solution. The book is a story of good versus evil, right versus wrong, character versus expediency. Go with Jake on this adventure to find peace in the world and his peace within.
