Noah Baurer is living a sheltered life as a young physics genius until the day he is told he is an extraterrestrial telepathic hybrid with a mission. The Earth has been under quarantine by the Galactic Confederation to prevent the violent, corrupt Homo Sapiens from disrupting galactic peace. Extraterrestrials have tried to help humanity develop into advanced societies, but repeated failures force them to consider other options.

Noah is one of a new generation of hybrids, Homo Galaxus, designed with the necessary traits to create an advanced society by replacing Homo Sapiens; others have a competing scheme. The Dracons, reptilian refugees in hiding around the Earth, strive to claim the planet. They fight a proxy war using their own hybrids.
Noah must accept his real identity and summon the courage to fight back against the Dracons. He must battle to defeat the Dracons as Homo Sapiens fade away.
