Margaret Klein Salamon, PhD , is a clinical psychologist turned climate warrior and Founder and Executive Director of The Climate Mobilization, which pioneered the Climate Emergency Declaration campaign and helped turn it into a global movement. Born and raised in Ann Arbor, Michigan, Margaret matriculated to Harvard College and earned her doctorate in clinical psychology at Adelphi University. In the aftermath of Hurricane Sandy, she woke up to climate truth and is now fiercely devoted to cancelling the apocalypse and restoring a safe climate. When not working for the climate, Margaret enjoys Pure Barre workouts, civil war and social movement history, and The Sopranos.
