generation of the Lee Kum Kee family, I take it upon myself to perpetuate our heritage through future generations. I have experienced the ups and downs of my family's development and actively propelled the rapid advancement of Lee Kum Kee. I officially took the helm of this family business in 1972 when it was just a small firm. However, after more than four decades of toil and sweat, Lee Kum Kee has undergone a dramatic transformation today.
Notably, two personal attributes of Lee Man Tat could be summarised from his legendary life. they are, first and foremost, his vision to“see the big from the small”; and secondly, his ability to grasp opportunities in crises. Implications of these two attributes or personal styles of Lee Man Tat could be traced in three significant and interlocking aspects of his life, namely his upbringing, his business career, and his personal culture.
