At a rescue shelter north of Los Angeles in late December, a small family of dogs gathers together to hear a Christmas story. The narrator is an elderly dog named Charles. When she learns their future is at stake, she must use all her talent, every skill she learned in clownery class and all her courage to bring Beppo a present that can’t be wrapped and tied with ribbon. She must give him the gift of hope. CLOWN DOG is written for young people ages 9-12. But anyone who likes dogs, comedy, romance, acrobatic leaps and holiday food will enjoy this story of friendship and joy. This Christmas adventure in Budapest will appeal to children of all ages.
