This research, by design is descriptive-correlational, and its objective is to analyze, based on the opinion of entrepreneurs of SMEs in Hermosillo, Sonora, how innovation impacts entrepreneurship, which is essential to create business management strategies that promote entrepreneurship and meet market needs. The results obtained demonstrate the importance of incorporating innovative strategies based on strategic planning programs within their administrative processes, in order to achieve business competitiveness. As a final conclusion, it can be said that, in the current context, the business culture is based on creativity and innovation on a constant basis and this is due to the fact that, in the business environment, it is crucial to promote an approach that leads to a competitive business environment both nationally and internationally.
