It also depicts the planning and success of the "Chicago Vietnam Veterans Welcome Home Parade", The largest parade of its kind in history which drew over 200,000 marchers and over 300,000 spectators in Chicago on June 13th, 1986. The book is filled with references to the turbulent 1960's and displays seldom seen photographs of the historic parade in Chicago.
