Rhonda thought love was long lost in her life until she came across an old friend from her past. Once having Victor back into her life she couldn't believe how strong of a presence he would be not only in her life but her entire family. He brought her from an abusive near death marriage to being loved by a man showing her if you never give up, stay strong, and being positive that not only life can change but you can heal from whatever life may throw at you. Not only did this work for her then but it has been passed down to her children after seeing how happy their mother was they too loved him as their Father.

Born and raised in his beloved Waterbury Ct, Author Vernon R. Matthews, Jr. found out at an early age that he loved to write but didn’t get serious about until one day when by chance he went with his wife to school one day when she suggested that he should write a story which he did.
