A monster has cast out the jaguars and cursed the small, mountainous town of Berumbo in a deathless winter. Haunted by the monster’s hunger and old superstitions, the surviving townsfolk recruit the sinful, a band of bounty killers, to deliver them from perdition. Xolo Guevara, a young mutant and outcast who runs from his own dark past, is one among the trio of bounty killers. And soon, beneath the subterranean chambers of a preternatural tower, Xolo will not only battle the lurking monster but also the nightmares that haunt his damned soul.
