Michael Robert Serovey holds associate degrees from both the University of South Florida and Hillsborough Community College. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts, Cum Laude, in Psychology from the University of South Florida and a Master of Arts from USF in Guidance and Counselor Education. He has also completed a Master of Information Systems Management degree from Keller Graduate School of Management, which is a part of DeVry University. Michael was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado from February 1978 to about June of 1980. While there he learned to love the mountains of Colorado. However, he never visited the Garden of the Gods or Red Rocks during this time. After his return to Colorado in 2013 he was able to revisit some of his favorite places as well as visit new ones like the Garden of the Gods.
