Terri Potts grew up in a small town in Southern Oregon. Although she majored in business and spent many years working in various aspects of the insurance industry, her real passions have always been writing, graphic design and family history. In the course of researching her genealogy, with the intention of bringing her ancestors’ stories to life for future generations, she became inspired to do something worth writing about in her own life. When her husband suggested a three-year adventure sailing down the Pacific coastline, through the Panama Canal and into the Caribbean aboard their forty-three-foot sloop, she swallowed hard and decided this was it! That life-changing experience convinced her to chart a new professional course when she returned to the "real" world. Now, she brings together her talents for writing, photo restoration, graphic design and page layout to help others publish their stories, because family history is so much more than just names and dates.
