This study aims to analyze whether the specific requirements for extraordinary appeals constitute obstacles to access to justice. In this sense, we will study the generic requirements for hearing the appeal and the specific requirements for admissibility. The rules regarding extraordinary appeals contained in the Internal Regulations of the Federal Supreme Court and in the Code of Civil Procedure will also be studied, with the aim of critically analyzing the specific requirements for the admissibility of extraordinary appeals as possible obstacles to access to justice, constituting a denial of justice.
