The newspapers, magazines, radio, television – collectively called paper and electronic media – are the only means for the Local Governments to inform the people about their functions to solve most of their local problems. On its side, the media may also be interested in what is being done for improving the life and surroundings of their own audience.
The study explores the factors behind the need for coordination and how it can be met. It also suggests the components of a database of people in the Local Governments and the media so that they may be contacted for coverage of events and developments in the Districts.
