I would like to share my deep gratitude for all who are the part of this book, ＂THE GLASS SEALING BARRIERES FACED BY WOMEN＂ each chapter and authors shred their valuable experience and contributed their suggestions. The Indian history from Vedas to present day respects and worship women, and identify their contributions to the socio economic development. The changing scenario and pressures of conventional rituals challenging women equality and their existence. Even though women constitute 50% of world population they are still deprived to exercise their fundamental rights pushing them to painful conditions, and undermining their power. According to global survey majority of women are illiterate. Domestic violence, inequality, female feticide, traditional and cultural custom barriers etc are preventing women to achieve their goals successfully, In order to have their voices heard in the formulation and strict implementation of laws and public policies aimed at ensuring their economic empowerment and gender parity.
