Robert Summers has been researching, writing, and lecturing on Dr. Samuel A. Mudd’s role in the Lincoln assassination for more than a decade. He lives in the Washington, D.C. area, which is convenient to research institutions such as the U.S. National Archives and the Library of Congress, where many original source documents about the Civil War and the Lincoln assassination are available. The three books he has written on Dr. Mudd are available in paperback and Kindle versions. Robert has also published this new edition of The Life of Dr. Samuel A. Mudd, by Nettie Mudd. The original hardcopy book was published in 1906, and is now in the public domain. Robert maintains a website at samuelmudd.com which provides video and other information about Dr. Mudd that could not be included in his books.
