Olle Edstrom

Edstrom, an ethnomusicologist, uses aesthetics as a means to chronicle Western music history in its social, cultural, and performance contexts. He examines music from ancient Greece to the present day and changing aesthetics in musical life. The book, which originated in a conference in Umea, Sweden, was originally published in Swedish as En ANNAN berattelse om den vasterlandska musikhisorien - och det estetiska projektet in 2002.
