The purpose of the second eBook in the series about the Object Model is to explore the many types of individual objects and object groups that are members of the five simple object families of the Object Model, namely the party object family, the resource object family, the action object family, the location object family, and the time object family. These simple object families are fundamentally different because of their potential involvement in actions, be they naturally occurring actions or actions initiated by people. This deceptively simple method of classifying objects can be applied to a vast number of tangible and intangible objects of interest to both ordinary people and business organisations.
