Sarah begins to realize that there are a few strange things about her new friend. The fact his mother won’t let him leave the house, even for a minute, is one. And Max’s ability to sneak his notes into Sarah’s house, completely unseen, is just the beginning of his invasion into her life.

Sarah soon realizes her friend is not who he seems. The more letters she writes back to him, the more she fuels Max’s insanity and obsession.
