In this book, Bibiana studies the APAC Method, an alternative means of serving sentences and re-socialising prisoners created by the Association for the Protection and Assistance of Convicts - APAC. Winner of the Innovare Award in 2011, the APAC Method impresses with its effectiveness in valuing human rights. A method of executing sentences that values the human being, based on important values such as work, community participation, discipline, health and family, it has already become an alternative to the serious problem that is the Brazilian prison system. Created in Brazil, it has already been implemented in more than 122 countries, demonstrating its efficiency in terms of re-socialisation and transforming the lives of inmates.
