The Outdoor Explorer Guidebook(TM) is a nature-based activity book designed to help children and families slow down, explore, and reconnect with the world around them. Created by Katherine Rackliff, MA, CCC-SLP-Speech-Language Pathologist and Certified Outdoor Therapist-this guidebook blends hands-on play, communication development, and outdoor learning into simple weekly adventures that can be done in any environment. This beautifully designed guide includes 10 themed weeks of activities, each inspired by the natural world. From gardens and bugs to clouds, trees, ponds, stars, and more, every theme offers meaningful, age-flexible experiences that spark curiosity and build connection. The activities emphasize sensory exploration, imaginative play, movement, early language skills, and observational learning. They are created intentionally for families with young children, educators, outdoor programs, clinicians, and anyone who believes in the power of nature-based learning.
