Hannah Read-Baldrey is the co-founder and Creative Director of one of the UK’s most successful craft start-ups, Make Box & Co, selling over 300,000 boxes to date. Hannah and MakeBox have an engaged social media following of over 70,000, as well as a dedicated Facebook community. She is the first and only craft designer to sell at the royal residences, including Buckingham Palace and Windsor Castle. Her designs retail at Liberty, John Lewis, Harrods, Peggy Porschen Parlours and many more. After studying at Central St Martins College of Art, Hannah went on to work as a stylist for magazines and also worked in advertising. She has worked for Red Magazine, Cath Kidston, Vogue, and DeBeers Diamonds. As a writer she is best known for creating the international bestsellers Everything Alice and Girls Night In, which achieved total global sales of over 135,000. She has also worked as a digital presenter for brands including Hobbycraft and Sizzix, as well as appearing on television on shows such as Kirstie’s’s Handmade Christmas and Celebrity Christmas Craft Masters. Mum of three, Hannah lives in with her husband in a terraced house with a pink door in South-East London.
