Pastor of Grace Baptist Chapel, a diasporan Caribbean church in New York City, Reid-Salmon, seeks to define the theological identity of churches like his by examining how Caribbean people understand themselves as a people of God, that is, as the community of faith that is called into being by the invitation to follow Jesus Christ as Sovereign and Emancipator.
