Prior to moving to New Hampshire in 1977, the author spent most of the previous 20 years living overseas. As the daughter of a U.S. State Department diplomat, she lived in Korea, Taiwan, the Philippines, Thailand, and Ethiopia before returning to the U.S. to attend college. She has written travel articles, poetry, and fiction, and was the publisher of the Southern NH Children’s Directory and related publications from 1994 to 1999. In addition to The Sullivan Saga: Memories of an Overseas Childhood, she is the author of a novel, Trail Magic: Lost in Crawford Notch.
