Her plane is rerouted to San Juan, Puerto Rico, where a citywide hotel overflow leaves her sharing a luxury suite with Ezra Blake-a photographer from Brooklyn who just wrapped an assignment in Barbados. He’s carefree. She’s frazzled. He journals in ink. She bullet-points in apps.
