She is the author of＂ Afghan Women, Identity and Invasion＂ in 2007 published by Zed Books. This book has been translated into Portuguese. She is also the author of ＂Women, Work and Islamism, Ideology and Resistance in Iran＂ in 1999 published under her pen name, Maryam Poya, by Zed Books. This book is translated into Farsi and Korean languages.
