Kat comes from the big city, settling down in Castle, Kansas. Living in a small town and working in the local diner is a quiet life, but a dull one. Then one late night Gloria shows up bloodied, beaten, and in dire need of help. When Chet appears shortly after, Kat knows she must defend the woman dying in her arms.
