Raising goats is a whole new world altogether. There is plenty that you will need to know before you take on the task.

For one, you can’t take care of just one goat. Goats do not thrive well if they don't have the company of other goats.  This means that you will need to have at least two goats to keep and nurture.

Another thing, goats need to have plenty of space so that they can have room to roam around.  In order for them to live comfortably, they will need to reside in a rural area, such as a farm.

Goats will also need to be treated by a veterinarian regularly.  They are prone to getting different diseases and illnesses.  The goats will have to get vaccinations and preventative treatment to keep worms and parasites away.

Goat rearing requires much personal commitment and careful vigilance. They are a very delicate breed of livestock to raise and rear. Can you devote the money, time and hard work to caring and nurturing them? If you can answer this question positively, then you have the right mindset required for goat rearing.
