Samineh Izedi Shaheem is an assistant professor of Psychology at the American International University in London where she teaches a wide range of courses including Introduction to Psychology, Cross Cultural Psychology, Pathologies and I/O Psychology. She is Canadian but from a Middle Eastern background (Iranian) and has studied and worked in different parts of the world, including The United Sates of America, The Netherlands, The United Arab Emirates and of course London.
Samineh is also one of the featured writers of All Women Magazine, which is distributed throughout the Middle East. She has a very unique monthly column and problem page focusing on the diverse cultural character of that region. Readers write their issues/concerns in and she tries to the best of her ability to guide them in the right direction.
Samineh takes her role to educate our future generation very seriously, and aims to reach as many individuals who may require guidance during the trying stages of their educational period and throughout life in order to make a difference in people’s lives. By engaging in both writing and lecturing, Samineh believes she is able to use these two mediums of communication in order to assist individuals in having more meaningful experiences and clarity throughout life.
