Anthony Lawrence Schers was born in London, England; and grew up on its leafy outskirts in Borehamwood, Hertfordshire, a town famed for its connection to the motion picture industry. He has spent thirty years driving tower cranes, the high seat in ’the tower of farsightedness’, literally at the sharp end of high capitalism. Though he does most of his writing part time while commuting in the ’vessel of accelerated thought’, as he calls it. He studied BA (Hons.) Fine Art Sculpture at Bretton Hall College in Yorkshire and his cover art and editing is all his own work. His artistic repertoire also extends through poetry, digital artwork and painting. This is his first novel, to be the opening instalment in a series of many, the second is well under way.
